ESOL/EAP Services

English speaker of other languages (ESOL)/English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Services

The Writing Centre has devoted support and resources to help students for whom English is their second language.

The trained staff in the Writing Centre are available to help you in a varitey of ESOL and EAP areas ranging from basic grammar to essay development and business correspondence.

What We Offer:

  • We help students who are taking ESOL 050, 100 and 200, as well as the ESOL Humanities and Gen Ed courses, but we are also happy to assist any second-language learner.
  • We run conversation and pronunciation sessions.
  • We cannot proofread completed assignments to be submitted, but we will be glad to show you how to proofread.
