"As a future nurse, I want to be able to provide the best care as possible to anyone I may encounter. After attending this workshop, I have gained skills on how to communicate with the deaf. The workshop was ever so life changing, especially on how important it is to communicate with individuals in the Deaf community. I learned how to sign questions that I can definitely use in the workforce like, where is your pain, have you taken any medications, how are you feeling. It was such an amazing workshop, the instructors just made it so much fun to learn! I would definitely recommend this workshop to everyone, especially individuals who will be present during emergency situations - it will make a difference in the care provided to individuals who are hearing impaired." - Cheyenne Hosein
