Mathematic Requirements

Employers require Humber graduates to be increasingly more skilled in their mathematical abilities. As a result, the Mathematics Department has developed a series of courses, delivered by exceptional faculty, that provide Humber students with the necessary mathematical skills to be successful in their professional and personal lives.

The Mathematics Department services the following schools at Humber:

To identify the mathematical requirements for your individual program, please select the School and then program in which you are registered.

1. Diploma Programs

Your math courses have been developed to prepare you for success in your technical curriculum.

Students whose placement tests scores are below 160 will take TMTH 010, a foundational math course, before they begin their program math courses.

Students who take TMTH 010 may have to pay for an extra course.

Students in the hospitality programs take MATH 904 to improve their skills in basic mathematics. Students who score above 60 on the CPT (computerized math placement test) are exempt from taking MATH 904.
