Mental Health Research: Trends and Technologies

Wednesday October 3rd 2:00-5:00pm (Lakeshore Campus-G Commons)

Deeply ingrained undesirable habits, and their kin, addictions, are scourges to mental health, social well-being, and a sense of personal freedom. Yet, what measures can be taken to overcome them? Dr. Nigel Turner, whose research focus is problem gambling, will discuss traditional and novel research methods and findings in addictions research. Dr. Turner will also address the need for early and thorough evaluation of mental health programs.

Humber’s Research Analyst Program invites you to attend its fall Research Forum, showcasing professional and student researchers. The Forum takes place on Wednesday, October 3, from 2-5, G building, Lakeshore. Dr. Nigel Turner, independent scientist at the Institute for Mental Health Policy research at CAMH is the keynote.
