Rebound is a retention and academic recovery opportunity for diploma or certificate students with an end of term GPA (TGPA) that requires withdrawal from their program, as per Academic Regulations progression requirements.
With Rebound, students have the opportunity to stay enrolled at the college by taking the General Arts and Science - College Transfer certificate or the General Arts and Science – Technology certificate. Participating in Rebound is an opportunity to increase your GPA and prepare you with the skills and strategies to set you up for success in a a program of their choice.
Diploma and College Certificate students who achieve 60% or higher after one semester may be eligible to return to their home program.

Learn more about academic progression rules and how your Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated at Humber by attending one of our Understanding Your Academic Progression (UAP) sessions. The sessions will also share key contacts and service areas for support to get back on track in achieving your academic and career goals - or exploring and setting new ones!

If you have achieved a term GPA of 60% or higher in General Arts and Science – College Transfer or General Arts and Science – Technology, congratulations! You may be eligible to return to your home program or apply to a new Humber program.
