What is Rebound?

Rebound is a program designed to support diploma students who:

  • Are struggling with their term GPA
  • Feel uncertain about their current academic program
  • Want to explore academic and career pathways to ensure confidence in their program choice moving forward
  • If you are interested in registering for the Rebound Program, please read the information below. You may contact GAS@humber.ca if you have any further questions.

  • Important: If you do not complete the required steps by the enrolment deadline, you will not be able to participate in this program.
  • If you are interested in staying in your current program please speak to your Program Coordinator before applying to the Rebound Program.

Attend an Understanding Your Academic Progression session

Learn more about academic progression rules and how your Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated at Humber by attending one of our Understanding Your Academic Progression (UAP) sessions. The sessions will also share key contacts and service areas for support to get back on track in achieving your academic and career goals - or exploring and setting new ones!

UAP Session Schedule:

  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 1 | Wednesday, January 7th | 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 2+ | Wednesday, January 7th | 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 1 | Thursday, January 8th | 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 2+ | Friday, January 9th | 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 2+ | Monday, January 12th | 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 1 | Monday, January 12th | 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Diploma/Certificate Semester 1 | Tuesday, January 13th | 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  • MyHumber → Student → Student Account & Fees → Pay Tuition Deposit
  • Your Tuition Deposit must be paid before you are able to register for courses.

Pay Your Tuition Fees

Log into:

  • MyHumber → Student → Student Account & Fees → Make a Payment/Account Detail for Term to view and pay your remaining tuition balance.
  • If you’ve already made a payment for the upcoming term, it will automatically be applied to this program.

The last day to add a course for the Winter 2026 Term is Friday, January 16, 2026.

After this date, you will no longer be able to register or study for the term.

Completed Rebound – Next Steps

If you have achieved a term GPA of 60% or higher in General Arts and Science – Degree Transfer, congratulations! You may be eligible to return to your home program or apply to a new Humber program.

Please book a meeting with your home PC if you are returning to your home program or reach out to a Rebound Student Advisor if you have any questions or are unsure of your next steps.
