English Placement Test

The English language placement test is designed to assess your proficiency in the English language. The test focuses on evaluating your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The test contains four sections which includes a writing, speaking, listening task and 50 multiple choice questions. The test will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete (duration may vary depending on the individual test taker). Please complete the test without the use of any aids.

Important Note: You must answer ALL questions in the test before you submit the test. If you do not answer all the questions, you may not be able to submit.

Please read the below instructions carefully before you begin the test.

  • Please use a reliable internet connection to complete the placement test.
  • Please use a computer with a compatible web browser to complete the test.
  • Please use a headset or speaker with good audio quality for the test.
  • Please check your internet connection, audio, and computer before taking the test.

You will hear a recorded set of directions to a location. Listen carefully and answer the following questions.
