How to Start Your EAP Program

We offer 8 levels of English every college semester.

You may begin on the start date that is best for you. (Canadian residents take a minimum of two sessions = one college semester).

Canadian residents must apply through the Ontario Colleges Application Service. For details, visit their website at www.ontariocolleges.ca/

As placement testing will determine your entry level, you are advised to complete the online Duolingo test at least two weeks before classes start. Please follow the instructions below:

• If you have an IELTS Academic/TOEFL certificate dated within 24 months of your start date, please send a copy of your IELTS Academic/TOEFL certificate to Humber at least two weeks before start date to explore options that may be available for your placement testing. See instructions for IELTS here.

• If you do not have a valid IELTS Academic/TOEFL certificate within twenty-four (24) months up to your start date, please complete the online Duolingo test.
