Abstract
This research investigates the transformative influence of graduating students on Canada's labor market, assessing the multifaceted effects of external factors pre- and post-Covid through a comprehensive PESTLE analysis. By examining shifts in career aspirations and employment rates among graduates, our study provides critical insights into the broader job market landscape.
Our findings reveal a promising post-Covid trend in the Canadian job market, marked by reduced unemployment rates and heightened employment rates, especially among higher-educated individuals. Supported by evidence from the December 2022 Labor Market Report, our analysis showcases resilience and growth, notably among youth demographics and diverse industry sectors.
These optimistic post-Covid job market trends hold significant implications for educators and policymakers, urging strategic interventions in education and policy realms to effectively navigate challenges encountered by the emerging workforce.
