Abstract

This project delved into the impact of frequent fast food consumption on adult health in Ontario, Canada. Consequences of the convenience-driven growth of the fast food industry include health concerns such as obesity and cardiovascular issues. Leveraging a comprehensive analysis of existing research that links fast food to adverse health effects, we emphasized the urgency of employing evidence-based strategies for fostering healthier dietary choices. By aligning quantitative data trends and qualitative insights, we formulated practical recommendations, including stakeholder collaboration and measures like menu labeling and health education that could lead to better public health and reduced healthcare burdens.
