Pathways are academic routes that students can take to move from one credential to another.

For students seeking further education post-graduation, the Research Analyst Program has established advanced standing pathways with two institutions:  Algebra University College in Croatia (pathway to Professional Master of Applied Computer Engineering, sub-specialization in Data Science)  and the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas, USA (pathway to Master of Business Administration (MBA).  

Professional Master of Applied Computer Engineering, sub-specialization in Data Science

Humber and Algebra University College in Croatia have entered into an agreement that allows Research Analyst graduates the ability to progress directly into the Professional Master of Applied Computer Engineering, sub-specialization in Data Science with reduced course requirements and discounted tuition provided all other entrance criteria are met and space remains available in the program. This Masters program, taught in English, can be completed in less than 4 semesters, since 7 obligatory and 4 elective courses can be fully recognized.

SCENARIO 1

Student takes all electives recognized by Algebra (maximum credits recognized is 51 ECTS, 36 ECTS at year 1 + 15 ECTS at year 2)

TOTAL TUITION: 6,325 EUR (regular tuition 11,000 EUR)

SCENARIO 2

Student takes electives not recognized by Algebra (maximum credits recognized is 39 ECTS, 30 ECTS at year 1 + 9 ECTS at year 2)

TOTAL TUITION: 7,425 EUR (regular tuition 11,000 EUR)

Master of Business Administration

Humber and the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) have entered into an agreement to facilitate the transfer of students from the Research Analyst Graduate Certificate for a block transfer of six (6) credit hours into UIW's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.  Students will be required to complete 24 credits to earn the degree.  

Applicants will be considered for acceptance into the MBA based on requirements as set forth in the UIW Graduate Bulletin for international students including:

  • successful completion of the Research Analyst program
  • submission of an official Humber transcript
  • submission of proof of completion of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university. (Students who do not hold a Bachelor of Business degree may be required to complete the Common professional Components of Accounting for non-Business majors, Microeconomics and Statistics during their first semester. These courses are are at the undergraduate level and are in addition to the MBA course requirements.)
